We worked directly with the hot sauce queen herself to develop a new brand look & feel, campaign platform, content themes and concepts, and a collection of assets to launch teh new brand, just in time for her launch in TARGET.

We didn’t shy away from the bold, because Sam doesn’t shy away from bold in her flavors. Our platform, Sam’s Sauce, leans into personality. It’s feisty and fearless, with content buckets like ‘Make ‘em Wet Wednesday’, HOT N SAUCY is comin’ in hot.

We met Sam at Fancy Food in the Summer of 2023 and we knew it was love at first sight.

Sam does it all over at Hot N Saucy. Sam is the one dreaming up flavors. Packing orders. Attending trade shows. She’s the one they interview for press n the one they contact for Oprah.

And she’s got the sauce, both literally the hot sauce n the sauce. What she didn't have was an established 'big girl' look and feel, a clear content and creative strategy, a vision for how to show up in the world. That's where we came in.

We worked with Sam over several months to bring her brand to life. We looked at competitors and best in class brands. We learned about where Sam came from, her history and where she wants to be in the future.

With just three of us on set (+ Sam & Hubs as talent), we kept it simple but effective. With bold colors and a lot of takeout, we worked as a team to produce 20+ food images and hundreds of pics of Sam in just 2 shot days

In addition, shoot every single bottle and ingredient to create a system to produce endless combinations to cover all specs needed in the future.

At the end, we came up with a brand that will stand out from the rest, a collection of content that will span digital and print touchpoints for the foreseeable future, and a body of work we are all so excited to say we worked on.
